"YOU ARE HERE" is supported by DC Department of General Services. It's located in the newly renovated Smothers Elementary School in North East Washington DC. The imagery is a representation of the NE community both current and historical including the Shrimp Boat Plaza, the Kennilworth Botanical Garden, Smothers, and Benning road. The goal was to create a sense of belonging for the students and as they enter the cafeteria, they'll now see images of places they pass in their daily commute.
