The "ROCK CREEK" Project, commissioned by DC General Services, is a 4 part printed acrylic board piece inspired by the natural beauty of Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC. The Trees represent each season of the year, fall, winter, spring, and summer. The animals shown are native to the Rock Creek Park area, where the school is located. The children depicted are shown as silhouettes in order to be inclusive. The spring tree includes a child in a wheel chair to further drive the message of inclusion.
